Đại Hào Project – Improving Quality Systems, Supply Chain Performance & Building a Culture of Ownership
Overview of Đại Hào Textile Company
Đại Hào Textile is a 100% foreign-invested company under the Grand Textile Group of Taiwan, established in Taiwan in 1987. The company specializes in the production of woven and knitted fabrics.
Đại Hào takes pride not only in helping garment manufacturers and fashion brands in Vietnam secure a stable domestic material supply, but also in enabling businesses to benefit from preferential tax policies in the EU and US markets through its vertically integrated production process — from spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, brushing, to finishing.
Today, Đại Hào continues to expand and provide a wide range of yarns and fabrics:
- Yarn: 20D – 300D
- Woven fabrics: Taffeta, Crinkle, 4-way stretch, Spandex, brushed fabrics, premium coatings
- Knitted fabrics: Jersey, Interlock, Stretch fabrics
- Key customers: Adidas, Decathlon, Mammut, Columbia, etc.
One of Đại Hào’s greatest points of pride compared to other textile mills is its commitment to green manufacturing since its early days of establishment:
- 95% of the water used at Đại Hào is recycled and reused — an impressive achievement
- Large-scale rooftop solar power system
- Continuous investment in operational excellence with support from professional consulting firms
Challenges and Difficulties Faced by Đại Hào
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, the factory faced significant workforce changes and challenges related to talent loss and brain drain.
By 2023, business operations gradually stabilized and returned to growth. At this stage, the Board of Directors sought support from a consulting team to address the following objectives:
- Improving the quality management system to quickly meet the standards of new customers
- Enhancing the supply chain system to adapt and ensure on-time delivery amid rapid growth exceeding 30% annually
- Building a culture of ownership in quality management, where departments are capable of proactively recognizing issues and maintaining process stability independently
How Did ALC Support Đại Hào?
ALC has been partnering with Đại Hào Textile from 2024 up to the present through three key phases.
Phase 1: Launching and Improving Quality
In 2024, the improvement project was officially launched through the following key activities:
- Initiating a continuous improvement and Kaizen culture for the Board of Directors and management team
- Consulting on quality system improvements to successfully meet Decathlon customer audit standards
Phase 2: Supply Chain Improvement
Following the success achieved in 2024, ALC continued to earn the trust of Đại Hào Textile’s Board of Directors to implement the following consulting projects in 2025:
- Consulting on improving the entire Supply Chain system, from customer order intake to final shipment delivery
- Consulting on production planning methodologies and management systems for the planning department to ensure production schedule stability
- Consulting on competency framework development and capability management planning for the Sales and Production Planning departments
Phase 3: Building a Culture of Ownership and Autonomy
2026 marks the third year of ALC’s partnership with Đại Hào Textile’s Board of Directors. The key focus areas for this phase include:
- Building a culture of ownership and self-managed quality systems across all production departments
- Applying AI to improve the effectiveness of internal training programs
- Applying AI to develop and optimize internal training systems
- Improving greige fabric loss rates throughout the production process
One of ALC’s proudest achievements is the feedback shared by Đại Hào’s Board of Directors: the company had previously worked with consulting teams from Taiwan for an entire year to improve operations, but the results did not meet expectations.
However, in 2024, after beginning the collaboration with ALC, the management team gradually started seeing tangible improvements and measurable results. For this reason, ALC has become a long-term consulting partner of the company.
